What a joy it is to find documents proving the work your ancestor did. Many jobs took years and years to learn. You can learn who he work with and what company he worked for. Sometimes you can find an old pay stub. Cleaning out old trunks, old folders, and bags and papers … it is important not to throw any of these items away until you go through them.
