Most Family History Societies, Genealogical and Historical Groups kept detail records of the group and its members. They have member rosters, photos of members, community events, documents, books, community and other memorabilia. Away, check with the ones in the areas your ancestors lived.
Also, don’t forget about other socially minded community groups, clubs, social organizations, civic minded groups, or hobby get-togethers. However it is listed think -bowling, knitting, quilting, music, cars, computers, stamps, volunteers, cleanup, teardown, buildup … what ever brings people together more than likely there is a list. As you are researching the ancestors names learn about what interested them … find out what occupied them and what kept them busy outside of working for a living. Maybe there were outside activities formed at the job where co-workers got together on the off hours.
